Supreme Court Says Brexit Needs an Act of Parliament

Supreme Court Says Brexit Needs an Act of Parliament

Without doubt, Britain will leave the EU but in a different manner.
The British people voted for the UK to leave the EU.
Teresa May voted to remain, however she has decided to back the will of the British.
She says Brexit means Brexit and is sticking to her guns.

The court today says that the government can't just leave by triggering Article 50 without an act of parliament.
However, no MP worth their salt will vote against the will of the people.
This would go against democracy.
It only means that more politicians of all political persuasion will have a say on the deals available.
This will be a soft Brexit rather than a hard Brexit.

So, there you have it, the UK will leave as soon as a few formalities have been sorted out.

The Supreme Court has now steamrollered over the people of the United Kingdom.
People voted to leave the EU - period.
How dare these people go against the opinion of the public?
Granted, the UK will leave the EU but to have people coming along dictating ... well that's a dictatorship and not a democracy.
Brexit means Brexit - Teresa May is correct.

Don't worry, it is only the unelected elite flexing their muscles.
David Bowie has died - what more can I say

This is what the public expected. However, the elite want to show us all who is really the boss.
I am innocent, are you?

The vote in parliament was last night.
The MP's, as expected, voted in favour of Brexit.
They decided to back the British people in the referendum.
So there we have it, Brexit will be triggered very soon.
