New plastic ten pound notes

Post by Rodney » Sun Mar 05, 2017 1:36 pm

New plastic ten pound notes

The new plastic £10 notes will be with us in the UK in September with Jane Austen on them.
They will be made the same way as the new £5 notes are (most people seem to hate the new fivers).
The new polymer notes will be smaller than the paper tenners we have now.
However, there is a concern that they use animal substances in their production :o
Whether you like the new plastic money or not, I think this has to be an issue that needs to be addressed.
This is 2017 and surely there was other materials available.
I much prefer the paper money.

Oh, I have the new £5 notes.
It's ok if you store them in your wallet but they are no good for your back pocket.
